Profile

Tim McElduff, a Hudson Valley native, joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and became partner in 2010. Tim focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and business litigation, estate litigation, real estate and criminal defense, with a significant concentration in representing national and local lenders, mortgage servicers, investment funds, and other creditors in mortgage foreclosure and collection matters throughout the states of New York and New Jersey. Tim first experienced how professionally rewarding litigation can be when, as a student advocate in the Elder Law Clinic at St. John’s University School of Law, he helped save a client’s home from the criminal conduct of a home improvement contractor. As he puts it, "That early success gave me a taste of just how rewarding litigation can be when it is used to protect the rights of your client.”

Graduating from St. John’s University School of Law, Tim began his law career in the New York City offices of the internationally-known law firms of Harris Beach PLLC and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, where he honed his legal skills and developed an approach to the practice of law that he still uses today for his Drake Loeb PLLC clients: hard work and endless preparation.

When he is not in court or the office, Tim can be found on the bench presiding over the Town of Wawayanda Justice Court or spending time with his wife Patricia and their three children in Orange County. Tim is a dedicated member of the communities where he works and lives, having formerly served on the board of the YMCA of Dutchess and Eastern Orange counties, as President of the Orange County Magistrates Association, and currently serving as Town Justice for the Town of Wawayanda and as both coach and President of the Minisink Valley Little League.
